Walking outside, sure, is good for your health. The sunlight, maybe up and down hills and if you are lucky, a sidewalk. But, not all of we have that extravagance.

You might have work prohibiting you. The weather might be awful. You might feel embarrassed. You may even be afraid of dogs!

Many a times, I place a pedometer on my shoe and calculate my miles simply by walking around my house.

You can workout with walking DVDs created by Leslie Sansone and Richard Simmons, too.

These are the most effective I think.

Sure, parking your car far from the store is good and so is taking the stairs.

Nobody believes me when I tell them I get exercise simply by walking in my house. The dummies.com article proves I am right!
