It makes you feel confident.
It makes you feel better.
It makes you feel accomplished.
Because you want to catch someone's eye.
These are "feel-good" ideas.
One way to do this is "feel-good" music.
Listen to music.
Tunes can distract you from pain and fatigue.
Also, music can be your workout buddy. It will psyche you up and get the energy flowing.
When to use "feel-good" music?
Having a clean house makes you feel good, right? Turn the music on and set a kitchen timer for 10 minutes. See how much of your house you can clean. It is something we all have to do anyway and can be a good workout!
A second example, while using a stationary or recumbent bike, turn the music on. The pedaling will seem less tedious as you get lost in the music. Often, you will pedal more than you even realized!
The same goes for walking. Only the difference is that you are walking and getting lost in the music.
These workouts pump-up your "feel-good" endorphins de-stressing you.
So, go ahead and turn the radio on, listen to a CD to today's dance music or maybe even your 80's tapes! Look up iheartradio or Pandora on your laptop and search "workout" music. What are you waiting on? Feel-good!
