The book titled Raw Food Diet, by Marta Tuchowska, is good if you need help to shed unwanted pounds, detoxify your body, concentrate better and increase your enegy level, including new hot (even though raw and uncooked) recipes. You can include this with any other diet you have chosen for yourself and your family!
This book contains over 50 recipes of which I have selected my favorites to share.
Refreshing Spinach Smoothie
a freshing drink to have as a dessert or before/after partying to prevent hangovers.
2 cups of spinach
4 peeled apples
3 g fresh mint
1 cup of water
peel the apples
place all ingredients in a blender
serve immediately with optional ice cubes and cinnamon
this recipe is for cellulite sufferers, people with water retention or slow digestion, to have this salad atleast 3 times a week, also being able to blend the ingedients.
1 pineapple (I would simply use canned)
1 cup blueberries (I would simply use blueberry jam)
1/2 cup coconut milk (this can be found at Dollar Tree)
juice of 1 lemon (simply cheaper to buy a bottle of lemon juice)
slice and cut into halves the apples and cucumbers
In a bowl, mix the blueberries, coconut milk and lemon juice with above
Pumpkin Almost Raw Soup
good for the skin!
1 small pumpkin (I would simply use canned)
2 carrots (I would simply use canned)
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 garlic clove (I would leave out)
1 pinch of chili powder
1/2 tsp curry powder (I would leave out)
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup coconut milk (can be found at Dollar Tree)
1 pinch of Himalayan salt (I would use regular table salt)
add all ingredients except pumpkin to blender and blend until smooth
then add pumpkin
