Who isn’t trying to eat healthy these days? Eating healthy has so many positive benefits, such as reducing your risk of heart disease, stroke and lots of other things you’d rather avoid. Believe it or not, eating healthy can be quite simple and very tasty if you follow simple guidelines.

Here’s some simple guidelines to follow when you decide to eat healthy:

Diets should include plenty of:

• Fruits and Veggies
• Whole Grains
• Beans
• Nuts and Seeds
• Fish
• Skinless Poultry
• Fat-Free Dairy Products
• Healthier Fats

Diets should limit:

• Sweets and Added Sugars
• Sodium and Salt
• Saturated Fat
• Fatty or Processed Meats
• Trans Fat

The good news is, eating right doesn’t have to be hard or require you to give up your favorite foods. Instead of seasoning salt, use Mrs. Dash and instead of frying your food, try using an Air Fryer. Being creative with food preparation is key to eating healthy. Honestly, you need to make smart choices to build an overall healthy dietary pattern.
