Wellness can mean different things to different people. When I think about wellness, I think about the total body experience (mind, body and spirit). How about you? How do you define wellness?
According to the Wikipedia, wellness is the state of being in good health, especially as an actively pursued goal. Now letís think about that for a moment. Since, wellness relates to complete physical, mental, and social well-being, that agrees with my concept of wellness relating to the total body experience (mind, body and spirit) when approaching the wellness aspect of life.
Wellness is more like an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a healthy and fulfilling life. Would you agree? Wellness is a dynamic process of change and growth especially when you are trying to become a healthier person.
Try creating various goals for yourself, such as fitness, nutrition, and wellness.
